The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Engine Builder to join our busy Engine Shop Department. This role involves building and maintaining high-performance powertrain units for various prestigious motorsport programs worldwide.
The responsibilities include:
* Preparation, build, maintenance, and rebuild of performance engines.
* Pre-production of key engine components.
* Recording and maintaining all build data.
* Providing event support across motorsport programs in the UK and globally.
* Mentoring Junior Engine Builders to ensure quality standards.
* Developing ideas to enhance engine performance and reliability.
* Maintaining a professional appearance of engines and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Who We're Looking For
We seek a self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and enthusiasm. You should be educated to technician level with a thorough understanding of engine systems and mechanics. Ideally, you have at least 2 years of experience as a Senior Engine Builder or Engine Technician in motorsport or automotive industries, or are looking to progress into a senior role.
You should pride yourself on attention to detail and be capable of delivering high standards under strict deadlines. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a shared determination to achieve winning results are essential.
