Analytics Manager
Permanent | Up to £85,000 | (3 days/week in office) hour commute from London Waterloo
The role
A leading UK retailer is hiring a Customer Analytics Manager to join their Customer & Data team. You'll deliver analysis and insights that shape strategy, improve customer experience, and drive revenue across the business.
What you'll do
* Lead analysis across customer understanding, Loyalty, and marketing performance
* Manage the team's backlog and priorities
* Run complex analysis, and turn findings into clear recommendations
* Coach and develop a team of analysts
* Translate messy business questions into structured analytical approaches
* Make sure analysis drives action, not just outputs
* Work with Tech, Data Science and wider teams on shared frameworks and governance
* Support growth across Digital, Marketplace, Services and Retail Media
What we need
* Strong analytical background, complex SQL plus Python
* Experience leading analytical teams
* Experience with cloud platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery or similar)
* Loyalty and customer analytics experience
* Solid grasp of stats (hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, p-values)
* Familiar with Jira/Confluence
* Commercially-minded, curious, and a strong storyteller with data
