A leading architecture practice is currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join their dynamic team. This role will involve delivering high-quality architectural projects with a strong emphasis on technical design, coordination, and project delivery across RIBA Work Stages 3–6.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Producing comprehensive architectural drawings and coordinated work packages using Revit, from developed design through to construction.
2. Preparing detailed technical specifications using NBS Chorus, ensuring compliance with current building regulations and project standards.
3. Creating 3D visuals and illustrations to support design development and client presentations.
4. Liaising with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate integration of technical and construction information.
5. Attending and contributing to Design Team Meetings, working collaboratively with architects, engineers, and consultants to achieve coordinated design solutions.
Key Skills & Experience:
6. Proven proficiency in Revit, with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical detail and BIM coordination.
7. Experience using NBS Chorus to produce specifications.
8. Sound knowledge of UK Building Regulations and experience working within the RIBA Plan of Work, particularly Stages 3–6.
9. Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
10. Ability to manage workloads effectively and problem-solve in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
