Are you ready to spearhead strategic initiatives and drive operational excellence? We are on the lookout for a visionary Senior Vice President to lead our Value, Access, and Health Economics and Outcomes Research team. You will lead a diverse team of accomplished researchers focused on assessing the value of medical interventions, ensuring access to healthcare services, and conducting research to understand the economic impact and outcomes associated with healthcare interventions.
Our research plays a critical role in informing healthcare decision-making, shaping health policy, and improving the delivery and affordability of healthcare services.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be accountable for engaging in RTI HS-wide strategic planning and aligning the service grouping with the overall business strategy and growth plans. You will collaborate with RTI-HS leadership to develop strategies to further influence market adoption of services in line with HS-wide strategies. Additionally, you will identify, explore, and recommend opportunities to expand into adjacent services through acquisition, strategic partnering, or other forms of outsourcing.
Added responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
1. Designing and implementing research studies that provide value, perspective, and evidence for clinical and/or pre-clinical product portfolio decisions, marketing, regulatory agency submissions, and product reimbursement strategies.
2. Collaborating effectively with colleagues within Value Access, Health Economics & Outcomes Research and throughout RTI-HS to deliver quality services and partnership to our clients and other stakeholders.
3. Collaborating with the Strategic Consulting & Growth team to understand the emerging client needs and to share client experiences from projects in order to partner strategically with clients.
4. Partnering with RTI-HS Leadership to inform market trends for practice areas, influencing to drive strategy and long-term planning.
5. Adapting and aligning resources to large market/industry trends and changes.
6. Inspiring and creating a culture of growth, innovation, quality, and client-centricity.
7. Managing financial metrics, including group P&L and Direct Project Rate.
8. Ensuring annual objectives, including growth and metrics, are met.
9. Engaging with clients to ensure the success of projects led from the respective practice area.
10. Contributing to strategy based on external knowledge of trends and future changes in the market.
11. As a research manager, you may write and review proposals or portions of proposals; lead or support complex projects, while also serving as a mentor to staff in proposal and project leadership.
12. Participating in business development activities, including meetings with prospective clients.
13. Ensuring the professional credibility of the group function internally and externally with key professional organisations while lending support to develop the scientific and/or professional stature of staff.

Qualifications
20. Bachelor's level Degree and 20 years of directly related experience, or Master's level degree and 16 years of directly related experience, or PhD and 12 years of directly related experience.
21. Proven record of effective collaboration and teamwork.
22. Demonstrated success leading teams in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industries.
23. Demonstrated ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal or external customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
24. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
25. Demonstrated experience communicating change effectively and preparing and supporting those affected by change.
26. Proven record of inspiring respect and trust while fostering a focus on quality in others.
27. Ability and willingness to travel globally as needed.
