Warwickshire County Council is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic business intelligence analyst to join the Strategic Research Team within Business Intelligence.
About The Team And The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that provides critical support to the council, enabling evidence-based decision-making and service improvement. The role involves analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on data to support senior management and commissioners, with a focus on resource targeting in a challenging financial environment.
The successful candidate will work within the Strategic Research team, supporting services in the Communities Directorate by collecting, analyzing, and presenting data from various sources across Warwickshire County Council. Responsibilities include:
1. Using various tools and techniques to interpret and report on datasets and research to inform strategies and policies.
2. Designing and developing PowerBI dashboards for complex data visualization.
3. Supporting the delivery of the Council Plan through data analysis and reporting in project groups.
4. Supporting consultation, engagement, and user research activities, including survey design and analysis of responses.
The role offers a varied workload and opportunities to collaborate across the organization on current issues, including reporting on COVID-19, supporting the Levelling Up agenda, addressing the cost-of-living crisis, managing Homes for Ukraine data, and providing evidence for economic recovery strategies.
You will have access to necessary technology and datasets, with training provided as needed. Flexible working arrangements are available, including time at the reconfigured offices in Warwick.
