Following a period of significant success in securing projects within the Energy sector, they are looking to add an experienced professional to their dynamic and dedicated management team. The Role As a Senior Design Manager, your responsibilities will include: Managing the design aspects of tenders, preconstruction activities, and live projects. Overseeing preconstruction and early contractor involvement (ECI) design activities. The Candidate The ideal candidate will have: A degree or HNC/HND in a relevant technical discipline. Membership of an industry-recognised professional institute (e.g., CIOB, ICE, IET) or be progressing toward chartered status. Experience in tenders, preconstruction, and project delivery within civil infrastructure. Strong knowledge of the Energy and Power markets, particularly substations. Required Experience: Preconstruction/tender design appointments. Experience in the Energy sector, particularly substations. Working knowledge of NEC 3/4 contracts and associated change mechanisms. Design consultant appointment and management of scope/programme. Design management processes and procedures. BIM experience (beneficial but not essential). What's in it for you?
