Senior Social Worker – Family Help Service
Permanent, with fixed‑term secondment (2‑year) opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality social work interventions to children and families.
* Supervise qualified social workers and support the Team Manager with staff leadership and development.
* Apply best practice and innovative approaches in line with the borough’s anti‑racist, trauma‑informed and systemic practice model.
* Provide and participate in leadership training to advance your career.
* Contribute to organisational learning, promote and support best practice and service development.
Qualifications
* Registered with Social Work England and holding a recognised social work qualification.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Enhanced DBS check required.
* Experience in family or child services and a comprehensive knowledge of best practice is desirable.
