About the Role
The post is based in the Trauma Sciences research team within the Centre for Neuroscience, Surgery and Trauma, www.c4ts.qmul.ac.uk. The objective of the NHS London Violence Reduction Programme is to lead the way in shaping how the NHS can support violence reduction and improve wellbeing in our communities at a population and individual level. The programme comprises several London-wide projects designed to deliver change and effectively bring together young people, their carers and families, NHS, local authorities, and other key stakeholders to implement violence reduction models across London.
About You
The Clinical Lecturer will contribute to the intellectual life of the institute and the wider institution. They will serve as a conduit between the academic expertise of the research team at QMUL and the policy and strategic aims of the NHS London Violence Reduction Programme. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Violence Reduction, relevant professional qualification, or equivalent professional experience. They should possess demonstrable knowledge of clinical and behavioural science methods, including qualitative and quantitative approaches, and experience in developing studies related to Violence Reduction, including study design, data collection, analysis, and write-up.
