Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Kidderminster
Start Date: September | Full-Time | Permanent

Randstad Education is working with a specialist School in Kidderminster to recruit a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a skilled and supportive team, helping children thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

About the School

This is not your typical School. It's a nurturing, well-structured environment designed for students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, and ADHD. With a strong focus on emotional wellbeing and personal growth, the School prioritises individual success and builds confidence through consistency, encouragement, and care.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include

* Providing personalised support to students in one-to-one and small group settings
* Working closely with Teachers to modify and tailor lesson materials
* Encouraging and modelling positive behaviour and emotional resilience
* Supporting students in developing independence and real-world life skills
* Taking part in enrichment activities that support holistic development
* Promoting a respectful, inclusive classroom culture where all students feel seen and supported

What We're Looking For

* At least 6-12 months' experience working in UK Schools, ideally within SEN settings
* Solid understanding of common SEN needs including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH
* Calm, empathetic, and confident in building strong student relationships
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* A current Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
