We are looking for Compound Drivers to join our client’s team in Peterborough, working for one of the UK’s leading car remarketing and auction companies.
The Role:
1. Safely move vehicles within a large compound.
2. Manoeuvre and park vehicles in bays and workshops.
3. Handle a variety of vehicles, from small cars to high-performance models.
4. Drive manual, automatic, and semi-automatic transmissions.
5. Inspect vehicles before moving and report any damage.
6. Work outdoors in all weather conditions (appropriate workwear required).
Requirements:
7. Full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years, max 6 points for minor offences).
8. Minimum age 23 (for insurance purposes).
9. Confident driving various makes and models.
10. Previous driving experience is a plus.
11. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
12. Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
