Corporate Partner / Senior Lawyer | Preston | Competitive package + benefits
This long-established firm has a strong reputation across Lancashire and the wider North West, combining deep local roots with a growing regional presence. Known for its personable, client-focused approach, the firm advises a wide spectrum of businesses — from ambitious owner-managed companies and family enterprises to investors and established SMEs.
The corporate team is well-positioned for growth, offering varied and high-quality work that includes:
* M&A transactions
* Business sales and acquisitions
* Shareholder agreements and joint ventures
* General corporate governance and advisory matters
This role offers the chance to play a pivotal role in the ongoing development of the firm’s corporate offering, with the autonomy to grow your own practice while leveraging a strong existing client base and cross-referrals from the wider partnership.
The Candidate
* Experienced Corporate Solicitor (likely 8+ PQE) with a proven track record in transactional matters
* Strong ties to the North West market and/or a client following would be highly advantageous
* Excellent technical and commercial skills
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor junior lawyers
* Ambitious, entrepreneurial outlook with a drive to contribute to the firm’s continued success
