Specialist Doctor in Integrated Sexual Health

The successful candidate will join a dynamic, forward looking and well established team of consultants and Specialty Doctors providing integrated sexual health and contraception services across Manchester, Salford and Trafford. The department provides services in partnership the local authority, voluntary organisations and other agencies that provide health and social care to meet the sexual and reproductive health needs of our local communities.
We seek to recruit a highly experienced individual to a Specialist Doctor position within the Northern Contraception, Sexual Health & HIV Service for Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT).
To undertake any duty which is deemed appropriate to the grade when requested by Senior Staff such as:
* Work as part of the Northern Medical team to support delivery of care and provide system leadership across the Northern footprint.
* Utilise professional skills in all relevant areas of sexual health and reproductive health in the provision of care for patients accessing the service.
* Provide clinical leadership and supervision for the local clinical team.
* Maintaining the highest clinical standards at all times and in accordance with accepted good medical practice and the various clinical policies of the Service.
* Transmission of relevant clinical information to other medical, technical and nursing staff both within and external to the department.
* Teaching and supervision of medical students, nurses in matters relating to the treatment of patients.
