About the role
We are looking to recruit a Manual Handling Compliance Officer to join our busy Health and Safety team.
This is an exciting new role which aims to develop systems to help support and improve safe manual handling of our residents in the care homes whilst providing them with the best person-centred care.
You will support the Health and Safety Team by being the initial point of contact within the residential homes for the manual handling of people.
Using your sound knowledge of the All Wales Manual Handling Passport Scheme, you will support the creation of manual handling risk assessments, safe systems of work and monitor their use.
As the successful candidate, you will use your experience working in the care industry and the training you have received to monitor standards of manual handling in the homes and ensure safe manual handling practices are followed.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem solving skills and the ability to deliver aspects of the role in Welsh or English.
