Quantity Surveyor (QS) - Warehousing Development Location: Warwickshire Contract Type: Freelance (initial intensive phase followed by part-time site presence) Project Value: £30 million industrial warehousing development Role Overview An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to support the commercial delivery of a £30m industrial warehousing development in Warwickshire Working closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the commercial management of the construction and civils package, ensuring the project is delivered within budget and in line with contractual and financial objectives. This role begins with an initial two-week period on site to become familiar with the project, contracts, and team. Following this initial phase, the role will transition to approximately one day per week on site, with the remaining work able to be managed remotely as required. Key Responsibilities -Cost Planning & Financial Management -Prepare cost estimates, budgets and bills of quantities (BOQ). -Carry out cost analysis and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle. -Perform cost value reconciliation (CVR) and monitor project cash flow. -Track project expenditure and ensure costs remain within agreed budgets. -Procurement & Contract Administration -Prepare and issue tender documentation. -Review and ev...
