We’re working with a well-established Leicestershire business who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a part time basis. This Accounts Assistant role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, being hands-on, and supporting across all areas of day-to-day finance.

Duties and responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant:
Processing supplier invoices and reconciling supplier accounts
Matching, batching and coding invoices accurately
Supporting payment runs and resolving supplier queries
Maintaining purchase and sales ledger records
Assisting with month-end processes including accruals and prepayments
Preparing reports and supporting budgeting activities
Processing expenses and completing credit card reconciliations
Providing general finance administration support as part of the wider Accounts Assistant duties
The ideal candidate for this Accounts Assistant role will have:
Previous experience working within an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
Experience using Sage 50
Strong understanding of invoice processing and reconciliations
Good Excel skills and confidence using finance systems
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
Good communication skills and ability to manage workload effectively
