This position is ideal for someone with strong expertise across VMware, backup technologies and storage solutions, with the confidence to operate in a busy, productionfocused setting.This role is a hybrid position 2 days a week in the office and can be based out of Northampton or Yorkshire You’ll take ownership of BAU activities while also contributing to projects and backend infrastructure initiatives. Required ExperienceStrong handson experience administering and supporting Windows Server 2016–2022Solid knowledge of VMware vSphere / ESXi in enterprise environmentsPractical experience with SAN storage and zoning SAN / Dell PowerStoreProven background working with backup technologies and recovery operations Dell PPDMComfortable working in an onprem, changedriven environment handling BAU support Key ResponsibilitiesSupport, administer and maintain Windows Server environments up to Server 2022Manage and optimise VMware virtual infrastructure, including ESXi hostsConfigure and maintain storage zoning to ensure correct connectivity SAN / Dell PowerStoreAdminister, monitor and troubleshoot backup and recovery solutions Dell PPDMProvide daytoday infrastructure support, maintenance and fault resolutionContribute to platform improvements, upgrades and bestpractice initiativesDeliver 3rdline support and act as a technical escalation point
