Unit Role: Army Reserve Infantry – 8 RIFLES is to provide formed companies and individuals for operations, act as a basis for regeneration and maintain strong links to the civil community. 8 RIFLES is to be capable of mounting and sustaining operations at R8. Position Role: The RQMS is responsible for assisting the Quartermaster in the routine and day to day management and running of the Quartermaster Department in accordance with current regulations. Responsibilities: 1.To assist and advise on Board of Officers. 2. Maintain Unit ammunition account. 3. Maintain AF G1098 equipment table. 4. Maintain MSA and accommodation accounts. 5. Maintain the Unit Discrepancy Report Register. 6. Oversee the running of US, expense and clothing account. 7. Administration delivery and collection of stores. 8. Battalion MJDI UAA.
