Key Responsibilities:
Managing the Public Rights of Way team
Developing and implementing strategies, processes, and policies for Public Rights of Way services
Ensuring the Public Rights of Way network is accessible and well-maintained
Collaborating with Cabinet, other elected members, and senior managers to enhance the network
Providing expert advice on Public Rights of Way issues
Overseeing the resolution of Public Rights of Way cases and disputes
Attending in-person meetings and site visits as required
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in the highway sector, with a focus on Public Rights of Way
Proven ability to lead and manage a team
Strong understanding of legislation, policies, and best practices related to Public Rights of Way
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to develop and implement effective strategies and policies
Proficiency in resolving complex Public Rights of Way issues and disputes
Flexibility to work in a hybrid setting with in-person attendance on Tuesdays, and additional days as needed
