Job Role
In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and measuring components to ensure they meet the specified quality standards. You will utilise CMM equipment, visual inspection methods, and a variety of precision measurement tools to verify the quality and accuracy of parts, components, and assemblies.
The overall job function is to ensure that all products manufactured by Denroy, meet customers expectations for quality and delivery, and that the quality department consistently maintains KPIs. Duties And Responsibilities
Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections on CNC-machined and moulded components
Perform dimensional checks using verniers, micrometres, height gauges and other inspection tools
Inspect mouldings for cosmetic and dimensional defects
Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
Record inspection results, complete FAI/FAIR documentation and support nonconformance reporting
Work closely with machining, moulding and engineering teams to resolve issues and maintain high standards
Carry out product inspections and Quality Control/Quality Assurance Activities.
Ensure product compliance with design, customer and regulatory authorities requirements and regulations.
Monitoring and Delegated Operator Scheme.
Working flexibly in groups and on shifts.
Writing technical reports to highlight drawing, process and tooling anomalies to instigate investigations and corrective actions.
Essential Criteria
Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and tolerances
Experience inspecting injection-moulded components
Ability to use a wide range of precision measurement tools
Confident interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Experience of digital inspection equipment such as CMMs and vision systems.
Experience of PC-DMIS software
Quality department experience
ISO 9001 /AS 9100 experiences
Injection Moulding experience
Desirable Criteria
Strong knowledge of GD&T standards
Internal auditor experience (lead Auditor)
Experience in Root Cause Corrective Action investigation experience
SPC experience
Aerospace First Article Inspection Report submissions
Experience supplying regulated or high-specification sectors (e.g. science, medical, aerospace, or similar
Expected education/experiance
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science discipline or equivalent
