Siemens Mobility has expertise in many areas of technology, one of them being in Railway Control System Engineering. We deploy our digital signalling control solutions to renew and enhance the UK&I’s train control systems, helping people get safely from A to B every single day.
Siemens Mobility Ltd help to solve the problems of increasing traffic by working with railway operators to improve the capacity, punctuality and security of their systems and to ensure that the carbon footprint produced by transportation is kept to a minimum. As part of our Mobility division, you will be part of a team helping to design solutions and systems which have a real impact on the real world

Embark on your journey with us to gain hands-on experience to equip you for your professional career in digital technology. By the end of your 3 months with us you will have developed your knowledge, learned from industry experts and built your professional network ready for whatever you do next.
Some day to day activities would include;
* Assisting in delivering project engineering work-packages.
* Developing knowledge and skills in the preparation of engineering plans, delivery programmes, specifications and system design to ensure these are delivered to time, quality, and cost parameters.
* Building a working knowledge of our products, systems and strategies for implementation.
* Applying your skills to deliver a digital project which enhances Siemens customer experience, through the adoption of new process tools and methods of working.
Essential Skills and Attributes
We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:
* Studying towards a 2:2 or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or another engineering-based subject.
* You think logically, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
* You can work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
* You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions
