You will play a key role in a team of Technicians and Preparation Assistants to ensure all vehicles meet the Motorpoint Standard, providing excellent customer service at every step. The role includes:
1. Carrying out pre-delivery inspections of vehicles to meet Motorpoint standards before customer collection.
2. Performing MOT Tests as required.
3. Carrying out repair work on vehicles, ensuring all work meets Motorpoint's Quality Standard.
4. Liaising with Customer Experience and Sales teams to ensure smooth vehicle flow and outstanding customer service.
5. Ensuring compliance with DVSA standards and health and safety regulations, including DVSA accreditation as an MOT Tester.
6. Possessing a full UK driving licence.
7. Having good knowledge of MOT testing regulations and procedures.
8. Demonstrating strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to efficiently identify and rectify defects.
9. Paying close attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork and documentation.
10. Exhibiting effective communication skills with customers and team members.
11. Being able to work independently and collaboratively.
12. Having basic computer literacy for digital documentation.
13. Managing time effectively to complete tests and inspections promptly.
14. Adapting to handle various vehicles and testing scenarios.
15. Upholding ethical standards and integrity in testing processes.
16. Building trust with customers through strong interpersonal skills.
