Class 1 Driver (Curtain-sider Deliveries)
Location:Coventry
Salary:£18.00 per hour
Contract Type:Full time, permanent // Monday - Friday
About The Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and experiencedClass 1 Driverfor an ongoing Monday to Friday position based inCoventry. The role involvescurtain-sider deliveriesto various locations, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who are looking for consistent, full-time work with a competitive pay rate.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating a Class 1 vehicle for curtain-sider deliveries across designated routes.
* Ensuring goods are securely loaded and unloaded, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
* Completing all necessary paperwork, including delivery notes and vehicle checks.
* Maintaining a high standard of customer service with delivery recipients.
* Adhering to traffic regulations and ensuring vehicle compliance.
Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years Class 1 driving experience.
* Experience with curtain-sidervehiclesand load securing.
* ValidC+E (Class 1) driving licenseanddigital tachograph card.
* ValidDriver CPC qualification.
* Strong understanding of road safety and compliance with legal driving hours.
* Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
* Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer service.
Working Hours
* Monday - Friday, with start times between04:00 AM and 14:00 PM.
* Flexible start times to suit operational needs, with potential for occasional overtime.
Pay
* £18.00 per hour
