St Michael Abbey School will be opening in September 2025, offering a British Education in a global community. This is a unique opportunity to be involved at the beginning of an exciting new adventure in education and to join the founding team. Set in 22 acres of beautiful English countryside, we offer excellent teaching and boarding facilities.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Chemistry Teacher (part-time or full-time) to deliver outstanding Chemistry lessons across GCSE and A level. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of achieving excellent results at A level and GCSE and be ready to inspire the next generation of scientists.
The role will require:
1. Teach Chemistry at Year 9, GCSE, and A level
2. Deliver an innovative and engaging curriculum
3. Demonstrate a proven record of excellent results at A level and GCSE
4. Contribute to extra-curricular activities, science competitions, and community projects
Key requirements:
1. Qualified teacher status preferred and a degree in Chemistry (or related subject)
2. Proven record of achieving excellent results at A level and GCSE
3. Ability to teach Chemistry confidently across the age and ability range
4. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
