Job Title: PE Teacher Location: Barnsley (S70, S71) Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time Encourage students to stay active, develop skills, and enjoy physical education in a motivating and inclusive environment! GSL Education are looking for a committed PE Teacher to join schools in Barnsley, covering the S70 and S71 areas. The Physical Education ( PE) Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that build fitness, teamwork, and confidence while promoting a lifelong love of sport and physical activity. Prime Responsibilities: Plan and deliver PE lessons in line with the curriculum. Develop students’ physical skills, teamwork, and healthy habits. Maintain high standards of behaviour and a safe learning environment. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Support extracurricular sports and school competitions. Requirements of PE Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification. Experience teaching PE in a school setting. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
