We are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Winchester, starting as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to work with children at the very start of their educational journey, providing a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for an EYFS class, delivering high-quality provision in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. The Role
As an EYFS Teacher, you will plan, deliver, and assess engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences that develop children’s skills across all areas of the EYFS. You will create a nurturing, stimulating environment that encourages exploration, communication, and independence. Observation and assessment will be key to planning effective next steps for each child.
You will also work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to ensure consistency and high-quality provision. Building strong partnerships with parents and carers is essential to support children’s development both in school and at home.

The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching in EYFS or Nursery/Reception
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
* Be nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic
* Possess excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management skills
* Be reflective, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement
* Show a commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
