Description Accounting and Systems Specialist Location : Lewes Salary : £33,951 p.a. Hours : 37 per week What youll be doing: Southdown is the largest not-for-profit provider of care, support, and housing in Sussex. Join our small, friendly finance team as an Accounting and Systems Specialist, where your expertise will help drive both financial accuracy and digitalisation. In this key role, youll take ownership of our month-end processesproducing essential journals and overseeing the Balance Sheet to ensure everything adds up. But thats just the beginning. Youll play a leading role in the rollout of our new Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) platform, guiding the transition and taking charge of its ongoing management. Youll also oversee finance system updates, lead user testing, and deliver training to keep the team confident and up to speed. As a secondary approver, youll review and co-sign bank reconciliations and payments, adding an extra layer of assurance to our financial operations. Youre either a finalist or already qualified, and may have had experience in roles such as Financial Analyst, Financial Systems Specialist, Accounting Analyst, Systems Accountant, Accountant, Accounting Specialist or Accounting Supervisor.
