Responsibilities
* Supporting Heads of Year (HOY) with pastoral care and acting as a first point of contact for parents/carers.
* Leading interventions to improve attendance, punctuality, and behaviour.
* Managing the inclusion room, including supervising students in internal isolation and detention.
* Supporting students with behaviour modification strategies and one-to-one mentoring.
* Liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure pupils receive the right support.
* Contributing to safeguarding, monitoring, and reporting using systems such as CPOMS and SIMS.
* Assisting with duties before, during, and after school to maintain a calm and orderly environment.
Qualifications
* 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* The ability to encourage, motivate, and support students.
* Experience of working with young people, families, and external agencies.
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
* Strong ICT skills and the ability to maintain accurate records.
* A clean driving licence, experience of event organisation, and knowledge of supporting vulnerable learners would be an advantage.
