About the Opportunity
The Decommissioning Alliance (TDA) is a strategic partnership, operating within the DNWP framework and delivering critical decommissioning work at Sellafield, including the UK’s most challenging Legacy Ponds facilities.
As a key partner within DNWP, TDA contributes to Sellafield Ltd.’s mission while ensuring communities, supply chains, and stakeholders benefit from meaningful, measurable Social Value outcomes.
The Role
We are now recruiting for a Project Controls Manager (Strategic Projects) who will work closely with the Head of Strategic Projects, Workstream Leads and the Commercial Manager as part of the Strategic Projects Core Team. Whilst also reporting into the TDA Head of PMO as a functional reporting line. The PCM will support all workstreams within Strategic Projects from a client contract and a supply chain perspective.
Responsibilities
* Providing Project Controls input into new task orders or strategic initiatives within TDA.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key counterparts in the client and subcontractor teams.
* Feed Strategic Projects reporting into the wider TDA reporting requirements as required by the Head of PMO.
* Work alongside cost control and risk departments within the PMO function to ensure all Project Controls requirements are pulled together coherently to allow adequate monitoring of project and workstream performance and allow for timely decision making around risk and opportunities.
* Input into supply chain development and subcontract procurement, working with the Workstream Leads and Procurement Lead to ensure Project Controls requirements are adequately captured in subcontract strategies for all Strategic Projects.
Qualifications
* ECITB Level 6 Diploma in Advanced Project Controls
* Primavera P6 Formal Certification
* Sound analytic skills: the ability to analyse data and present valuable indicators of Project Health Performance
* Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to communicate with colleagues across different levels of the organisation and across trades
