Description
Davies Emergency Response are looking for an Operational Trainer to lead the development and implementation of high-impact training programs with the ability to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that equip claims handlers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to manage home emergency claims efficiently, empathetically, and in line with regulatory and service standards. You'll be instrumental in refining processes, enhancing regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement.
Please note - This is a rolling shift pattern including weekends and evenings when induction requires
What will your day look like:
* Develop and deliver induction and refresher training for new and existing claims staff.
* Create engaging learning materials, including e-learning modules
* Ensure training aligns with current policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
* Conduct training needs analysis in collaboration with operational leaders.
* Monitor and assess learner performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching.
* Maintain accurate training records and contribute to audit readiness.
* Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions.
* Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and customer expectations.
Knowledge and Abilities:
* Proven experience in training delivery within an insurance or emergency services environment.
* Strong understanding of home emergency claims processes and customer service principles.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt training styles to suit different learning needs.
* Competence in using learning management systems and digital training tools.
Who You Are
Experienced
: 5+ years in training and development, preferably in insurance or claims management.
Tech-Savvy
: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital training tools.
Certified (Preferred)
: CIPD qualified
Strong Communicator
: Excellent communication, and analytical skills.
