About the Role
* Technical leadership: Provide guidance and direction to a team of engineers, ensuring alignment with technical goals, architecture, and best practices as a technical authority with Python (Django) and React (Next.js).
* People management: Support the growth and development of your team through regular coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
* Delivery ownership: Plan, deliver, and maintain high‑quality software solutions that meet business and customer needs.
* Collaboration: Partner with product, design, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver projects effectively.
* Engineering excellence: Champion best practices in software engineering, driving improvements in quality, testing, deployment, and observability.
* Problem resolution: Act as a key point of escalation for complex technical or delivery challenges.
* Innovation and continuous improvement: Foster a culture of experimentation and learning.
About You
* Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of engineers.
* Technical expertise: Strong understanding of modern software engineering principles (system design, architecture, delivery pipelines).
* Collaboration & communication: Excellent skills building relationships across technical and non‑technical teams.
* Delivery focus: Experience delivering complex projects with a focus on timelines, quality, and customer outcomes.
* Continuous improvement: Proactive mindset to improve processes, tools, and team dynamics.
* Cloud and DevOps: Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, automation).
* Problem‑solving: Ability to navigate ambiguity and implement practical solutions.
