The Role: Use evidence-based teaching practices to maximize student learning and progression.
Develop and refine curriculum materials to align with school goals and national standards.
Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback that supports growth and achievement.
Use data from assessments to inform instruction, address gaps in learning, and support individual student needs.
Engage in reflective practice, including self-evaluation and contributing to the school’s improvement plan.
Contribute to the wider school community by participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and community initiatives.
Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching English in secondary schools.
Strong knowledge of the English national curriculum.
A Bachelor’s degree in English or a related discipline (desirable).
