The Opportunity

Tuesday - Saturday OR Sunday - Thursday

06:00 - 14:30

As a Raw Materials Technologist, you'll be the key on-site contact for our suppliers—ensuring all ingredients and packaging materials meet our quality and safety standards. You'll be instrumental in carrying out inspections, managing non-conformances, supporting audits, and providing technical guidance to the Goods In team.

Key Responsibilities

* Inspect raw materials and packaging on delivery and maintain accurate intake records.
* Conduct risk assessments and technical checks, including allergen and hygiene audits.
* Liaise with suppliers to resolve quality issues and obtain certificates of analysis and documentation.
* Participate in new product feasibilities to ensure the use of food-safe materials.
* Contribute to customer complaint investigations and traceability exercises.
* Support internal and external audits and supplier site visits.

* QA experience within a food manufacturing environment, ideally with direct supplier interaction.
* Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
* Confident using SAP, Excel, and Word for data management and reporting.
* Strong understanding of ingredient/packaging conformance techniques.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
