Job Description: MIG Welder – Day Shift (Hinckley) Location: Hinckley Pay Rate: £13.92 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm Contract: Temp to Perm Opportunity Immediate interviews available About the Role We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join our client’s team on a day shift in Hinckley. You will be working on a variety of fabrication tasks, primarily MIG welding sheet metal and stainless steel components, within a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities * MIG welding sheet metal (1mm–15mm) and some stainless steel * Setting up and adjusting welding equipment as required * Reading and working from engineering drawings and production paperwork * Carrying out quality checks on finished components * Working to tight deadlines and production targets * Maintaining high standards of health and safety About You To be considered, you should have: * At least 2 years’ MIG welding experience * Ability to read engineering drawings confidently * Experience setting up welding equipment * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality * Flexibility to adapt to different tasks as required Similar Job Titles This role may also suit candidates with experience as: MIG Welder, Welder, Fabricator, Sheet Metal Worker, Welding Operative Job Type: Temp to perm Benefits: * Company pension Ability to commute/relocate: * Hinckley, Leiestershire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Experience: * MIG welding: 2 years (required) Work Location: In person
