Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with an established organisation based in Banbury within the automotive industry to recruit an Accounts Assistant. The Accounts Assistant will receive a salary of up to £26,000 plus an attractive benefits package.
Primary responsibilities;
1. Processing purchase invoices and matching to purchase orders
2. Maintaining and reconciling purchase ledger accounts
3. Raising sales invoices and allocating customer payments
4. Assisting with credit control and chasing outstanding payments
5. Bank reconciliations and cash posting
6. Supporting month-end procedures
7. Handling supplier and customer account queries
8. Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems
9. Assisting the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks
Skills & Experience Required
10. Previous experience in an accounts assistant or finance administration role
11. Knowledge of purchase ledger and sales ledger processes
12. Good attention to detail and accuracy
13. Strong organisational and communication skills
14. Confident using Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
16. A positive and proactive attitude
