Job Description:
We are recruiting for a Data Quality Assurance Analyst with operational data governance experience.
Reporting to the Data Quality Assurance Manager, this role involves acting as an SME in developing quality assurance solutions within our Azure data platform. You will design and implement processes to identify gaps in organisational data quality, and be responsible for implementing the QA framework, conducting documentation checks, designing test plans, and executing data quality audits.

What you will be doing
* Contribute to data quality efforts, ensuring high accuracy and reliability across data sources, warehouses, marts, and pipelines.
* Implement a Data Governance Framework across the organisation.
* Serve as an expert on technical matters, including complex data sets.
* Support the evolution of our data landscape as we develop our Azure data platform.
* Develop a detailed understanding of business processes to support governance and data quality workstreams.
* Document processes and procedures developed for governance and data quality.
* Create and monitor test processes, perform regression testing, and implement standard procedures to meet specifications.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, address issues, and review remediation outcomes.
What we are looking for
* Degree-level education or equivalent experience in technical engineering, computer science, business management, or similar.
* Experience using ERD tools (e.g., Erwin) to map Data Flows and create Data Catalogues.
* Willingness to study for and obtain a qualification in Data Management such as DAMA.
* Practical experience with coding, SQL, and/or Python.
* Ability to support others in understanding data and data flows across the organisation.
* Skill in distinguishing between business process issues and system process issues to resolve data quality problems.
* A self-motivated, analytical, and logical approach.
