Job Description
A rare opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Pastry Chef to join our team, working alongside the Executive Pastry Chef to lead the Pastry & Afternoon Tea Team.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the smooth operation of the Pastry Department, maintaining all areas to Fairmont St Andrews standards.
* Assist the Executive Pastry Chef in supervising and training pastry staff.
* Motivate and develop team members.
* Prepare daily food items in accordance with business needs.
* Develop and verify standard recipes to ensure proper portion control, taste consistency, and quality, for approval by the Executive Chef.
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar role is essential; experience in a five-star hotel is preferred.
* Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
