Role Description
This part‑time role is for an MSK/Biomechanics Podiatrist at our Lee‑on‑the‑Solent location. The successful candidate will assess and treat patients with musculoskeletal and biomechanical conditions, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide tailored orthotic solutions as needed. Responsibilities include collaborating with other healthcare practitioners to ensure comprehensive patient care, educating patients about foot health, and supporting prevention and management strategies for conditions such as diabetes that impact foot health. This is an on‑site role focused on delivering exceptional care and service to our patients.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Podiatry and Biomechanics with a proven ability to assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions.
* Knowledge of Orthotics design and prescription, and practical experience in fitting and advising patients on appropriate solutions.
* Understanding of Diabetes care, particularly in managing and advising on foot‑related complications.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide a supportive patient‑focused experience.
* HCPC registration and relevant qualifications in Podiatry or a related field.
* Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and a commitment to patient care excellence.
* Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload effectively.
