Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of bespoke residential projects from tender through to final account. This will include preparing subcontract packages, overseeing procurement, and managing cost reporting and forecasting. You will liaise directly with clients, consultants and subcontractors, ensuring smooth commercial delivery and full compliance with contract frameworks such as JCT. The role will involve hands-on input into budgeting, variations and valuations, as well as supporting senior management with reporting and financial planning. You ll also be involved in day-to-day project oversight, helping maintain cost control while contributing to the delivery of high-quality builds.
Requirements:
You should have experience working within the residential construction sector, ideally with a background in bespoke or high-end home builds. A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is preferred, though not essential for candidates with strong project experience. A good understanding of JCT contracts and residential procurement processes is required, along with the ability to manage subcontractors and reporting obligations effectively. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly across project stakeholders are important. A full UK driving licence is essential for site visits and project meetings.
