The opportunity We're currently looking for a Pre-Owned & Remarketing Manager. Someone to join our UK Sales team in order to develop the Pre-Owned Polestar proposition and create a profitable pre-owned sales channel. This includes managing suppliers and all aspects of the remarketing process. At Polestar we refer to our used cars programme as “Pre-Owned”, our customers know they can then rely on Polestar to deliver an exceptional used vehicle through our Pre-Owned experience. This position is located at our Bicester, UK office. The responsibilities In this role, you'll be expected to manage the Polestar Pre-owned vehicle program in the UK and develop the Pre-owned Polestar process, working with Polestar partners to optimise Pre-owned sales. See below a breakdown of the various tasks and areas you'll be responsible for: Responsible for the pricing strategy of Pre-owned Polestar vehicles. Development of new partnerships to increase residual value of Pre-owned Polestar products Analysis and development of business processes to support Pre-owned Polestar program. Working with incumbent finance provider and the internal sales team to improve the customer journey and proposition Work with investor partners and Polestar Spaces to maximise exposure of the Pre-owned Polestar scheme and ensure that second life vehicles are offered to customers through the Pre-owned Polestar channel. Ensure fulfilment of Pre-owned Polestar standards across operations through regular audits and provided training. Report and follow-up on sales performance and KPIs. Submit change requests and enhancements to the global program to improve performance. Leadership of a team with 2 direct reports. In addition, you'll need the following qualifications: Experience in managing vehicle remarketing, with a deep understanding of how car manufacturers manage used vehicles. Previous experience in a leadership position. Experience with data analysis, financial analysis, and market sales analysis. Experience developing relationships with and managing strategic partners, other external stakeholders, and vendors. Comfortable with applying fundamental supply and demand principles to real world and analysing large data sets, developing insights and actions based on data. Strong communication and influencing skills: a collaborative ethos with a can-do attitude and ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships.
