Shift: 4 on 4 off, nights
We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to keep our high-speed production lines running safely and efficiently.
You’ll spend the majority of your time on mechanical fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance, with enough electrical knowledge to work safely, diagnose faults and support line recovery.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for an engineer who enjoys fixing problems properly and minimising downtime.
Key Responsibilities;
1. Mechanical and Electrical fault finding and repair on production and packaging equipment
2. Planned and reactive mechanical maintenance.
3. Electrical fault diagnosis (sensors, motors, drives, panels). Safety focused, not design-led.
4. Rapid response to breakdowns to keep production running
5. Identify and implement reliability and improvement opportunities
6. Work safely, following site and legal engineering standards
What We’re Looking For...
7. Multi Skilled experience essential
8. NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a qualification/course completed in the other.
9. Manufacturing or FMCG maintenance experience
10. Confident with mechanical and electrical systems: gearboxes, bearings, chains, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics
11. Electrical safety awareness and fault-finding capability
12. Practical, proactive engineer with a strong work ethic
