Senior Support Worker/Support worker (Days & Nights) Location: Camberley, Surrey Pay Rate: Up to £12.87 per hour (depending on service) Shifts: Day and Night shifts available Role Overview We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to provide person-centred care to adults with complex learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and mental health conditions. You will lead and support staff across both day and night shifts, ensuring safe, effective, and tailored care to meet individual needs. Key Responsibilities Lead and support staff teams during day and night shifts to deliver high-quality care. Assist residents with daily living activities, promoting dignity, independence, and respect. Support individuals with mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and challenging behaviours. Administer medication and monitor mental and physical health, reporting changes promptly. Work closely with healthcare professionals to implement care plans focused on wellbeing. Maintain accurate records and comply with safeguarding and Mental Capacity Act requirements. Provide emotional support and manage challenging situations with empathy and professionalism. Essential Skills & Qualifications NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent (mandatory). Proven experience supporting individuals with complex needs and mental health conditions. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices. Ability to work independently and as part of a team on both day and night shifts. Eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
