The Opportunity
A global, highlyplex manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Global Credit &pliance Manager to join its finance leadership team. This is a high-profile role supporting international operations across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, with responsibility for global customer credit risk and enterprise-wideplianceernance.The role sits at the intersection ofmercial decision-making, cash optimisation, and regulatorypliance, offering exposure to senior leadership and Board-level reporting within a large, international group environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the global credit andpliance agenda, ensuring policies, processes, and reporting are fit for purpose and aligned to business strategy and delegation of authority.
2. Own global customer credit risk management, including financial analysis, credit limit rmendations, and risk mitigation using internal and external data sources.
3. Present quarterly credit performance and keypliance updates to senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders.
4. Oversee credit control activities to drive timely cash collection while supportingmercial continuity.
5. Partner withmercial teams, including participation in customer meetings, to balance growth and risk.
6. Lead preparation of monthly performance andpliance reporting for senior management.
7. Ensure Letters of Credit are managed in line with UCP regulations and internal guidelines.
8. Oversee securitisation reporting to Group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
9. Leadplex debt resolution and recovery activities, liaising with administrators, legal advisors, and other stakeholders.
10. Monitor and advise on changing regulatory requirements impacting the business.
11. Drive and embed a strong culture ofpliance across the organisation, includingpetition Law, Anti‑Bribery & Corruption, Sanctions, Modern Slavery, Dawn Raids, and Code of Conduct.
12. Conduct third-party due diligence and integrity assessments, working closely with external advisors.
13. Manage gifts and entertainment registers, sanctions reporting, and KYC responses to financial institutions.
14. Provide leadership, coaching, and development to direct reports, maintaining high professional and ethical standards.
15. Represent the business on selected global credit andpliance initiatives.
16. Support ad‑hoc projects and activities as required by senior finance leadership.
Candidate Profile
17. Qualified or part‑qualified CICM / CIMA, or equivalent experience.
18. Progressive experience in global credit risk management and regulatorypliance within aplex, international environment.
19. Strong understanding of credit drivers, customer risk, and security instruments ( Letters of Credit).
20. Confident, operating independently and influencing senior stakeholders.
21. Strong systems and PC skills (advanced Excel essential; SAP experience highly desirable).
22. Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on data quality, consistency, andernance.
