What you'll be doing: We're looking for a driven Key Account Manager to join our team, to drive sales and business development initiatives. In this role, you'll adopt a proactive approach to sales and customer support, maximising revenue and developing win opportunities with new customers. Increase Revenue Through Deep Customer Relationships Build strong, solution-focused relationships with key decision makers within allocated customer accounts Proactively identify and convert opportunities with both existing and new customers by promoting the full range of group's products and services Sales Cycle & Customer Service Drive repeat business through outstanding customer service and develop and implement cross-selling strategies to that broaden the use of the Group’s products Action all customer leads and enquires, issuing and following through on all quotes and proposals in a timely manner Customer Account Management Own and grow a portfolio of customer accounts through strategic planning and performance tracking Adopt a proactive approach to identifying opportunities, resolving issues and maximising revenue Teamwork Collaborate across departments and regions to deliver customer-focused solutions Partner with colleagues to solve strategic, technical, delivery, contractual and/or commercial challenges impacting customer account performance Market Intelligence Stay informed on market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity Use intelligence to strengthen customer relationships and uncover new business opportunities Other Responsibilities Contribute to periodic budget, forecasting exercises and bid and proposal support Spot and share marketing, PR, and emerging market opportunities What experience you’ll bring: Demonstrable experience with technical and/or sales experience within the oil and gas or marine sectors Ability to proactively manage customer relationships from initial approach to order closing and ongoing customer relationship management. Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiation skills combined with strong commercial insight Ability to manage own workload while working towards the common goals/business objectives in a collaborative, yet demanding environment Who we are: Established in 1985, Ashtead Technology is a leading provider of subsea equipment rental solutions, advanced underwater technologies, and support services to the global offshore energy sector.
