Job Title: Endpoint Security Engineer
Job Description
The Endpoint Security Engineer will play a critical role in securing the firm's modern desktop infrastructure. Based in Glasgow, this role will focus on implementing, managing, and optimizing endpoint protection solutions as part of the Modern Desktop Program. The engineer will collaborate with global security, infrastructure, and desktop engineering teams to ensure robust protection of endpoints across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and manage endpoint security solutions including antivirus, EDR, and encryption tools.
* Collaborate with global teams to define and enforce endpoint security policies and standards.
* Monitor and respond to endpoint security incidents and vulnerabilities.
* Support compliance initiatives by ensuring endpoint configurations meet regulatory requirements.
* Participate in security assessments and audits related to endpoint infrastructure.
* Provide technical guidance and support for endpoint security tools and platforms.
Essential Skills
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or endpoint security engineering.
* Strong knowledge of endpoint protection platforms such as CrowdStrike and Microsoft Defender.
* Experience with Windows and macOS endpoint management.
* Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
* Experience working in a global enterprise environment.
* Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell and Python for automation.
