What you’ll be doing:
* Lead a small team of food managers to oversee the grocery shop floor in one of our supermarkets.
* Coordinate exciting trading events by collaborating closely with the store leadership team, ensuring success during occasions like Christmas or Easter.
* Take full accountability for the store in the absence of a store manager, role model high standards, and coach for efficiency across the food hall.
* Manage compliance with processes and safety regulations while fostering passion and flair for excellent shopkeeping and creating fantastic shopping experiences.
* Manage a large team of colleagues, ensuring they perform at their best, are present on the shop floor when needed, and handle all people matters appropriately, including celebrating successes and managing difficult situations.
