Safer Connections Service (SCS)
SCS Clinical Practitioner (Practitioner Psychologist / Senior Social Worker)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced psychologists and social workers who are keen to support children and young people who display sexually harmful behaviour, to join our Safer Connections Service (SCS). We are keen to invite those with a clinical or forensic psychology qualification and senior social workers to join our developing team.
The SCS team sits alongside the Therapeutic Emotional Support Service (TESS) delivering consultation, assessment, intervention and support to children and young people who display harmful sexual behaviour between the ages of 7-17 years.
The SCS team adopts a multi-agency approach and delivers bespoke and tailored interventions and programmes of education and support to children, young people and their parents and caregivers, regarding harmful sexualised behaviours. The team has recently gone through a period of transition and review to ensure we continue to align with best practice and evidence-based approaches to service delivery, making this an exciting time to join our team.
