About the role
Location: Wolverhampton or Lichfield (with regional travel).
Salary: Competitive + Company Car or Cash Allowance.
We are looking for an experienced Head of Technical to lead all regional technical, engineering and design activities. Acting as the region’s technical authority, you will ensure developments are safe, compliant, buildable and ready for successful delivery from feasibility through to handover.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading technical, engineering and design teams across the region.
- Managing technical governance, design control and engineering risk.
- Overseeing due diligence, statutory approvals and compliance.
- Ensuring designs are coordinated, buildable and cost-effective.
- Working closely with Construction, Commercial and Operations teams to drive successful project delivery.
What we’re looking for
- Senior technical or engineering leadership experience within residential development, construction or infrastructure.
- Strong background in civil, structural or engineering-led housing delivery.
- Experience managing complex technical and engineering risks.
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
- Chartered status or professional membership desirable.

- Full UK driving licence required.
