The Role
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Property Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join our dynamic team in Yeovil. You'll handle a diverse caseload, offering expert advice and representation across a wide range of property-related disputes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising clients on all aspects of property disputes
* Drafting legal documents including statements of case, witness statements, and briefs to counsel
* Engaging in Alternative Dispute Resolution processes
* Participating in business development and networking activities
* (Optional) Advocacy in court
Typical Cases Include:
* Residential landlord and tenant issues (e.g. possession, disrepair, deposit disputes)
* Commercial landlord and tenant matters (e.g. lease renewals, forfeiture, dilapidations)
* Boundary and land access issues
* Rights of way and rights to light
* Adverse possession claims
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 2 years PQE with experience in property litigation
* Strong client care and communication skills
* Confident negotiator with a proactive, can-do attitude
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Team player with a commitment to excellence
