We have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join our team delivering our HMP Glasgow project.
HMP Glasgow is a flagship project for Kier Strategic Projects in Scotland. The Project Manager will take day-to-day on-site leadership of the delivery of the central facilities building that will serve the prison.

Your Day To Day Will Include
* Lead on-site delivery of the front of house building from pre-construction through to handover, overseeing site managers and supervisors.
* Take responsibility for work progressing safely and in line with Kier and client quality expectations.
* Ensure detailed plans are developed in accordance with the overall project plan to manage materials, resources, and supply chain performance.
* Manage the supply chain to deliver projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality, safety, and sustainability standards in line with Kier standards.
* Ensure compliance with the Business Management System.
* Act as mentor, line manager, and escalation point for the site team, sharing knowledge to develop others.
* Report directly to the Phase Lead with regular updates on progress and challenges.
* Maintain effective records for project delivery.
* Be an ambassador of Kier values, with a focus on safety and quality.
What Are We Looking For?
This role of Construction Manager is ideal if:
* You have significant experience in main contracting environments, delivering large-scale construction projects.
* You hold a relevant Construction Qualification Degree or equivalent.
* You are working towards or have membership/accreditation with a professional body (e.g., CIOB/ICE).
* You are IT literate, including Word, Excel, and project management software such as ASTA Power Project or Microsoft Project.
* You hold a 5-day SMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid Certification, and a Full UK Driving Licence.
