Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled, fully qualified, Heating Engineer to join our team in North Yorkshire. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various tasks related to heating systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires hands-on experience with tools and equipment, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Heating Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that heating systems operate efficiently and safely in residential homes.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair heating systems, including boilers, radiators.
Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify issues with heating systems.
Utilise hand tools, power tools, and equipment for various tasks.
Perform plumbing tasks related to domestic dwellings.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operations.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on larger projects, demonstrating effective teamwork.
Must be Gassafe registered with minumum of 2 years experience.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Heating Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heating systems effectively.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
Experience in plumbing.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
A valid driving licence is required. Company van provided
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: £25,043.72-£37,000.00 per year
